New workshop on Poe:intertextuality, parody and literary genres


METHODOLOGY:
The participants and the lecturer will accomplish a process of deconstruction of the text.

CONTENT:
The workshop will be based exclusively on the tale “The Thousand-And-Second Tale of Scheherazade” which contains elements that belong to the field of theory of literature such as intertextuality, parody, multiple narrators, authorship and literary genres.


LECTURER: Drª. Jane Thompson Brodbeck

BIO: She holds a Master´s and PhD in Literatures of English Language at UFRGS and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship in 2001 to study American literature/culture in NYC at New School University.
